Hi Julien, thanks for the feedback. I just wanted to follow up to ensure I understand correctly. So you have a multi-select in Airtable, and you would like each option in the select to come through to Excel as, for example, comma separated items within one cell? Or did you have something else in mind?

Product Team: Hi,
Yes, something like comma separated would be good yes. Any way that doesn't just compile all the data together into a single excel cell. Maybe also could you add a way to easily convert multi-select tags into columns with the tag names? So far I have done this using formulas but it would be nice to have something quicker. I mean let's say I have a multiple select column called 'letters' and in there I can select which letters are contained for each row (e.g. for row one I select letters 'A' 'B ' and 'C' in the multi-select column. Could you make a way to create columns for letters 'A', 'B' and 'C' which will be checked or not depending on whether the row has been tagged in the 'letters' column with that particular letter or not?

Julien Rigaut: Thank you for the details! Now I see where you are going, it's a super interesting idea and something I will explore with the team. We will have to assess if the Excel API would support that sort of behaviour.
Out of curiosity, do you ever use Google Sheets? In general their API is a bit more 'flexible' than Excel's and it might be easier for us to implement it in GSheets than Excel.

Product Team: Thanks for getting back to me. I'm not a big fan of the Google tools unfortunately...
