Write and sync Excel data to a Database field and Project Field
If we were permitted to write and sync Excel data to a database field or Project Field, I could receive near real time updates from my financial software. I want to see my actual billed time vs the budget in Wrike without using Wrike as my financial tracking software. We are vested in maintaining how our financials are collected and switching to Wrike was a non-starter. However the data visualization tool are better in Wrike. I can link my budget and actual accrued time per category and project via Excel power query, but writing the data to a task field doesn't get it to where I need it. I need it at the project level. The best option would be writing and sinking to a database then linking the database to the project. 2nd best would be writing to a custom Project field. ALSO It would be helpful for the Sync tool to verify the "Title" fields value or text matches the corresponding the Excel row before writing the data for this to work. The UnitoID currently mixes or overwrites the ID when my power query updates and this causes all my data to mix in Wrike when it updates. Consider just marking the rows that are slated to sync with a checkbox, keep the last modified column for triggering purposes, then search a designated column (text or number) for matching data to the known sync location (my database). Have the tool write all all fields in the row if they changed and add a new row to the location if there is not match.
